Eric's obituary says he served as an aviation electronics technician in the US Navy, earning the rank of Petty Officer Second Class. According to his LinkedIn page, Eric spent 14 years with the US Navy before working for Thorlabs, Inc., where he held a variety of positions.
Most recently, Eric served as the facilities director of Christian Fellowship Church.
He'll be remembered for his "dad joke" sense of humor, and the fierce love he had for family and friends, his obituary says.
Eric is survived by his wife, Joia; two children Madison and Benjamin; his dad James Clevinger; and brother Shawn Clevinger. He's predeceased by his mother, Debra Clevinger.
